The "red shirt guy" who engraved himself a slice up of internet fame at Blizzcon cobbler's last week has been rewarded with immortality as a character in the upcoming World of Warcraft enlargement Cataclysm.

A little review, in vitrine you missed it: During a Q&A at the Quest and Traditional knowledge control panel at Blizzcon last weekend, a clearly nervous just nonetheless determined young chap stumped Blizzard Vice Chairperson of Creative Development Chris Metzen with a question about Falstad Wildhammer and the Council of Three Hammers. He so corrected Metzen's off-the-mark reception with authority, leading Metzen to eventually throw Pencil lead World House decorator Alex Afrasiabi under the bus for the whole thing.

It was a classic awkward-funny moment and now Blizzard is using the Catastrophe elaboration to make a point IT'll never personify forgotten. An icon posted to the administrative unit WoW forums indicates a new plus to the staff of Falstad Wildhammer, the subject of the RSG's question: A diminuitive, red-shirted "Wildhammer Fact Checker."

Is IT legit? It seems like the kind of thing Rash would make out but the project was met with considerable doubt until the question was settled past none differently Afrasiabi himself, who silenced the debate with two half-witted words: "It's actual." So praise, Red-faced Shirt Guy, wherever you are. You've attained it.

Earth of Warcraft: Cataclysm comes out on December 7.
